March signifies a very special time. Not only are all of our birthdays in March, but it’s also a month for new beginnings. It is a month of re-birth and growth: spring time. As we turn our clocks forward to enjoy more sunlight, we get to witness the return of morning birds, flowering bushes and warmer days. Channeling that spring time energy, Fall Into Art, in partnership with S.O.W.E.D., will be holding events to cultivate an atmosphere of creativity and generosity into our community. From dance classes to park clean-ups to distributing essentials for those in need, we’re committed to giving back and lifting up our community and its spaces.
Free Virtual Classes
Afro-Fusion w/ Damani
Afro Fusion has a strong foundation in African Diasporic Dance fused with modern, contemporary and/or house styles of movement. This class strongly emphasizes rhythm and musicality.
Creative Writing w/ Nyasia
In this open-ended class, participants will express themselves through free writing and word exploration. This 45 minute class offers prompts for artists and aspiring artists to brainstorm and share ideas.
Contemp. Shapes w/ Diana
This dance class will explore various shapes as movement. Spirals, curves, laterals, oh my! We’ll warm up, gently stretch and learn phrase work deriving from shapes.
Donation Stations
Every Saturday, we will be set-up in the community holding donation stations. Bring what you can for those who need it the most! Here is list of suggested donations: toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, baby wipes, blankets, lotion, soap, feminine products (pads, tampons, etc), protein bars, and masks.
If you aren’t able to attend our donation stations but have something to give, reach out to us via email or DM to arrange a pick-up!
We are also accepting monetary donations with the profits going towards essential hygienic items for distribution. Find us on PayPal.

Spring Cleaning
Let’s start spring off on the right foot. Join us on Saturday, March 27th, at 10am for a community clean up. Bring yourself, comfortable shoes, and a friend! Trash bags and gloves will be provided. We’ll meet at Eastside Park by the gazebo.
Meet Up
At 3PM, come meet some prominent local figures. They will give us insight on what goes on behind the scenes and talk about ways we can get more involved in our community!
Sharing is Caring
From 3pm to 6pm, we’ll be set-up with hygiene kits, art supplies, and other essential goods for those in need. First-come, first-serve basis. Tell a friend to tell a friend.
